My entire life, I was convinced that there was something wrong with me. That I was broken.<\/p>\n

That I was unable to love.<\/p>\n

Relationship after relationship, I struggled to reciprocate the affection of my partners.<\/p>\n

At the time, I was exploring Orgasmic Meditation<\/a> (mostly in an attempt to figure out these issues) when I started reading Neil Strauss\u2019 latest book. Yes, that Neil Strauss. The guy who wrote about pick up artists.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, The Truth<\/a> is actually a book I\u2019d recommend to everyone. It pretends to be a salacious tell-all about one man\u2019s exploration of polyamory, swinging, and sex communes\u2026but that\u2019s all just a smokescreen.<\/p>\n

The book is actually about a man diving DEEP into his psychological issues and traumas, healing them with intense psychotherapy. It\u2019s surprisingly honest, intimate, and VULNERABLE. Shockingly so.<\/p>\n

And in his journey, a pivotal moment comes when his therapist teaches him about attachment theory<\/strong>\u2026which blows his entire world open. <\/p>\n

As it blew mine.<\/p>\n

Basically, the theory is that we all have a relationship attachment style, and there are three main types:<\/p>\n
